Miscellaneous Monday: LEGO Narnia!

Remember when I said that I love LEGOs? Well, it's true. They are the best. So, I decided to share one of my creations; NARNIA! (Forgive the terrible photos)

Top view of the dragon/water/dance. The lady with a flower in her hair is the queen. She is dancing with the king.

Preparing the feast with the help of Good Giant Rumblebuffin.

The guy with the flute standing under the dragon is supposed to be a dryad ;)

If you like LEGOs, tell me in the comments! It's nice to find other lego-lovers.

TTFN, ta ta for now,

Annie

Update... Again.

Anyone else think LEGOs shouldn’t just be for kids? I personally love thinking up something to make and then building it. My most recent project was a Narnia scene, which I might post later. For now, I really need a post schedule. Here is my (temporary) schedule...

Miscellaneous Monday: on Monday’s I will have the random posts, including updates and LEGO creations.

Typed-up Thursday: on Thursday I will post writings, such as book reviews and stories.

If you have any more ideas, please feel free to leave them in the comments!!!

I may also make a list of good books that I enjoy.

Anywho, that’s about all I have for now.

See you next time!

The Pearl Book Review

 Hello again!

I promised you a short story, but I couldn't wait to do this, so we will have to do that later. Behold; The first-ever Anne Ashwood BOOK REVIEW!

Title: The Pearl

Author: John Steinbeck

Rating: 2.5 out of 5

The rating may sound harsh, but it is pretty dark. There are murders, with vivid descriptions, lots of violence, and greed-crazed characters. Not recommended for people with vivid imaginations or people with arachnophobia The worst part: in the last chapter there is something horribly sad, which has to do with the death of a baby. One of the only good things I could draw from it is that the main character, Kino, loves his family and would do anything for them. Overall, I would say NOT for under 12 or 13 even.

Recap

Story: Death, Blood, violence, Family,

Writing Style: 4.5 out of 5. The only thing that bothers me in this category is he starts a lot of sentences with "and".

Opinions Wanted!

Howdy! I am trying to make my blog nicer, so I am testing out different styles, backgrounds, and all that. If I try something that you don’t like, leave a comment. If you see something you ADORE, again, leave a comment. Suggestions are also welcome😉

I am very sorry if I haven’t posted as often as I had when I started, our computer keeps breaking down😱

Anyways, the next story I will (hopefully) post is the SEQUEL to “The Two Artists”...It is funnier than the first, but there is a part that I think is a bit cheesy, but that’s probably because I wrote it😉

That’s all for now,

Annie.

An Update..... And Something Random

 Howdy!

I have written another story about Elaine and Michael (The Two Artists) and I plan to post it soon.... I just need to type it up😉  When my mom read it, certain parts made her laugh, which is a good sign. Of course, there is one spot that is a little...... dramatic. All my proofreaders thought it was good, but when I read it, I think it sounds kind of silly. But, that is probably just because I wrote it.

So, you can be expecting that one, plus I am almost done with a longer short story that I wrote for school, which will be posted (Hopefully) after the sequel to The Two Artists.

I also wanted to share this VERY random but VERY impressive Guinness World Record holding cow.

Amazing, right?

Well, that's all for now; stay tuned for more random and crazy things!

Annie

P.S. If you know anyone who might enjoy reading stories and other things, feel free to share the link to this blog!

Name Suggestions

 Hey guys!

As you may know, I am writing a fictional book inspired by Robinson Crusoe, Swiss Family Robinson, and the Coral Island. If you have read those three stories then you know what they have in common, and that something has to do with my story, too. Anyways, I am now on chapter five (Where it gets pretty exciting (I think lol)). I will eventually be in need of 1-3 new pet names, perhaps names that would be good for a dog, elephant, monkey, cat, cow or goat. You may give me some ideas in the comments. You never know, your idea might be in the book!

TTFN, ta ta for now,

Annie

This is a post about......posts.

I (hope) to post 1-4 times a week. This blogging stuff is still new to me, so if I forget, I am truly sorry.

Anywho, after I post the second part of the short story, I have another story....

DUN DUN DUUUUUN!

Spoiler alert: It has to do with princesses, some of which are VERY annoying, so beware.
